Terms of use

Last updated 20 July 2026

The short version

Anchrd is free for up to 10 contracts. Anchrd Pro is an optional subscription or one-time purchase, billed by Apple through your App Store account. Your data always belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time, on any plan.

1. Agreement

Anchrd is made by Griffentek ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Anchrd app you agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which forms the base of these terms. The sections below supplement it with the specifics of Anchrd. If anything here conflicts with Apple's standard agreement, Apple's agreement takes precedence.

2. The service

Anchrd helps you keep track of personal contracts, subscriptions and renewals. It is an organisational tool, not advice: reminder dates, cost summaries and any guidance shown in the app depend on the information you enter and are provided in good faith without warranty. Always check dates and terms with your actual provider before acting on them.

3. Free plan and Anchrd Pro

The free plan includes up to 10 active contracts with full core features. Anchrd Pro removes the contract cap and adds further features. If a Pro subscription ends, contracts above the free limit become read-only: everything remains visible and exportable, nothing you entered is ever hidden or deleted, and you choose which contracts stay active.

4. Purchases and billing

5. Your data

Your contract data lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. We do not run accounts or servers holding your contract data. Backup export always includes everything, whatever your plan. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

6. Acceptable use

Use Anchrd for its intended purpose: managing your own household's contracts. Do not attempt to reverse engineer the app, misuse the App Store's purchase mechanisms, or use the app in any way that breaks the law.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchrd is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from missed renewals, incorrect data entry, provider price changes, or decisions made on the basis of information shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
